5 Toys You Shouldn’t Have to Live Without – Women’s Edition

I haven’t been able to test a huge variety of specific toys to review, so I am taking a different approach with this blog post.
I am going to list 5 types of toys you shouldn’t have to live without, why they are so great, and examples of each type.  Stay tuned for the male edition, as well as the couples edition!

Eggs and Bullets

Eggs are one of my favorite types of toys. They give a great amount of vibration for clitoral stimulation. They are small, but easy to hold, egg shaped toys with a wire that connects to a controller. Eggs can be anywhere from $5 to over $100 depending on how much control you want. The basic $5 eggs have a cheap plastic controller so you can choose how much vibration you want. If you are willing to spend over $100 you can get a wireless, rechargeable egg made of premium grade silicone. My favorite though is somewhere in the middle. The Climax silk touch egg is only $36 and very good quality. Check out my review on it.

Very similar to the egg is the bullet. They are smaller and more oblong shaped, but serve the same function. Instead of having a cord and controller, they usually have a button on the end to turn it on and off. Again there are a wide variety of cost depending on how fancy you want them. You can get a basic for $10 which will give you one speed, or for $20 you can get one with multiple speeds. These are great because they are so small. They fit perfectly in the little zipper in your purse so you can have it wherever you go. If you are feeling adventurous you can even go with vibrating panties. These are basically panties with a little pocket down below that fit a bullet. They come with a bullet and a wireless controller. The controller works up to 15 feet away so you can let your lover have control.

The Rabbit

The rabbit is a vibrating sex toy made in the shape of a phallus with a clitoral stimulator attached to the shaft. They have some with a vibrating shaftrotating beads, or rotating shaft. No matter what your preference, you can find a great combination of vaginal and clitoral stimulation in one toy! You can even get one that has 2 eggs attached for triple stimulation.

Basic Rocket Vibe

Basic rocket vibrators are just that, rocket shaped vibrators. They are usually made of plastic, but my favorite are the velvet touch vibrators. Rocket vibrators are a staple in any girl’s toy collection. They can be anywhere from 4 inches long to 10 inches or more. These vibes are usually very powerful, and meant for internal stimulation. Of course nobody is stopping you from using it on the outside as well. They come in all different colors, patterns, and styles including some that even have rhinestones on them.

Glass

Every girl should have at least one glass toy. They are amazing, sanitary, versatile, and beautiful!! There are simple ones, fancy ones, vibrating ones, and anal ones. If you can’t tell, I am somewhat of a fanatic when it comes to glass. I was scared of them at first, but then tried one, and loved it! They are rock hard, so you can apply the perfect amount of pressure to your sweet spot. They are sanitary. Glass doesn’t trap bacteria, plus you can throw them in the dishwasher. They are versatile. Freeze them or boil them to change the temperature and keep things exciting. And did I mention how pretty they are? The come in different colors, with swirl designs. Some even have flowers in them.

Anal Plug

What do you mean you don’t already have an anal plug? “Don’t do anal”, you say? All I have to say is, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it… correctly. What I am saying is, get a butt plug, even if just a cheap one, wear it during sex, then thank me when you are done. Seriously, get one. When you get bored with the cheap one, get a little fancy with a bigger one, or a glass one, or a vibrating one!!

What is your favorite type of toy?
